For the inaugural post, I felt it was fitting to start it with an introduction of myself and why I decided to pick up photography. I have been raised most of my life looking at the world with the left brain. I am an engineer by training and use that left brain thinking 40 hours a week. At a certain point I felt there was something missing and I soon realized that I was not using my right brain at all. I was inspired by a friend who constantly travels the world and captures everything on a camera. Being unskilled in most artistic avenues I felt that photography could be a great hobby to pick up and as I have gained more experience shooting, I think I’ve found the balance to my left brain ways.
