Who Inspires Me… Craig McDean
0During a recent shopping outing with the girlfriend, we stopped by Anthropologie where I found a book titled Another Portrait Book which was a collection of portraits from various photographers. The photos that stuck out the most to me were all shot by Craig McDean who is a renowned fashion and portrait photographer currently based in New York.

Topete Family Photo Shoot
0I shot with the fun and beautiful Topete family who just recently had a new baby boy! We found a perfect spot to give the shoot a nice Fall look. It was forecasted to rain the day of the shoot but things worked out and the sun made an appearance.
Baby Katelyn
0It’s a fact in life, babies are cute and Katelyn was no exception. Here are a couple images from my shoot with baby Katelyn and her mom and dad.

0I did a portrait session for a couple who was expecting their first child. She was pretty far along actually and I’m very glad we did this session when we did because they gave birth to a beautiful baby girl just 2 weeks after.
Innocence
0This photo shoot was one of the most difficult ones by far and it wasn’t that the children were being fussy but it was the weather. It was well into the 90s in the afternoon and I had came straight from work to do this session wearing jeans and a dress shirt. Sweating and taking pictures of children was not the best mix in the world but I made it work.

0I shot my first e-session a couple weeks ago with this wonderful couple who I’ve known for quite some time. We shot in Sausilto, CA and while I was worried that there would be too many people around, there were some nice quiet spots to capture moments like these.
